Naples Florida Homes for Sale

Property Types

Southwest Florida is comprised of many communities and within each community there may be estate homes, single family homes, garden homes, detached villas, attached villas, carriage or coach homes, town homes, condos or all of the above!

Estate homes are single family homes but are typically custom homes that were built in a more exclusive subdivision within their community. Single family homes are self-explanatory and most communities had a variety of floor plans to choose at time of new construction. Detached villas are similar to a single family homes as they are not attached to any other property but are on a smaller lot and are usually deeper homes. Attached villas live like a single family home but have a common wall with one other property similar to a duplex or a “2-under-1” as they are called in different areas in Europe. Carriage homes and coach homes are another type of condominium but also live like a single family home due to their larger size. Carriage homes are 6-8 units in each building and a coach home is 4 units in a building and you live upstairs OR downstairs, but not both up AND down as you would in a town home. Town homes are not very common in this area but there are a few communities that offer this type of property. Condos are more than 8 units in a building. Town homes are not very common in this area but there are a few communities that offer this property type.
